Proposal 1: CALL A CONSTITUTIONAL CONVENTION
Summary: Automatically placed on the ballot every 16 years. If voters say yes, Michigan will hold a convention in 2027 where 148 elected delegates will propose changes to the state constitution, and then voters will get to approve or reject those changes – Will allow these delegates to make many bad proposals to change Michigan constitution and create chaos and confusion for voters to vote on. Also, delegate election process is suspect and resulting fair representation of people is questionable. VOTE NO
Proposal 2: RESTRICTION OF FREE SPEECH - “MOP UP MICHIGAN” Summary: Would ban regulated utilities and businesses holding government contracts exceeding $250,000 annually from making political contributions or funding political committees in Michigan elections – Trying to get more money out of politics. VOTE YES
